On Friday, July 29, 2011, CNET Content Solutions released the latest update to ChannelOnline, the leading sales-cycle automation solution designed to automate key business processes and transactions. The release introduces methods for more secure credit card payments, a more efficient returns process, and the expansion of current product features.

Continuing it's industry leading feature set, ChannelOnline 5.5 has placed a clear focus on providing industry leading secure payment solutions ensuring trusted credit card acceptance. Hosted Order Pages provided by leading secure credit card gateway providers – Cybersource, Moneris, Authorize.net, Amazon, Paypal, Google Payments, SecurePay and Intuit Merchant Services – provide enhanced security compliance features for merchants by removing the need to capture, transmit or store sensitive credit card information within merchant controlled systems. Instead, sensitive information is captured, transmitted and stored within the highly secure systems of the Credit Card gateway providers.

The 5.5 release also introduces a new Return Merchandise Authorization process which allows a more efficient returns process for both customers and resellers. The RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process will allow resellers to create RMAs from sales orders or quotes, print and email RMA documents, track RMAs by customer, and generate basic RMA reporting. With the new RMA document, resellers can even create RMAs back to the original supplier and attach it back to the original sales order.

Along with these additions to ChannelOnline, the ability to import external pricing configurations has been updated to include Hewlett Packard Big Deals and Value Express Deals. ChannelOnline 5.5 is also pleased to announce the expansion of our Intuit QuickBooks Connector coverage from Pro and Premier to include QuickBooks Enterprise support. Resellers who are using or are looking to upgrade to QuickBooks Enterprise will now be able to exchange Products, Customers, Quotes, Sales Orders, Invoices and Purchase Orders.
