ChannelOnline 6.2 was released on August 1, 2014. Updated roughly four times a year, ChannelOnline continues to be a leader with VARs and solution providers for managing business processes. ChannelOnline offers quoting, procurement, and supplier management, along with an ecommerce store. With the 6.2 Release, ChannelOnline gives its customers improved processes that make managing their businesses even easier.
One of the focuses of the 6.2 Release was improving Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) documents. RMAs now have better item-linking between sales orders, purchase orders, and supplier RMA documents, and they are now able to be created from merely selecting a line item from a sales order. The RMA workflow as a whole was improved by adding the ability to compare what was submitted against what was approved and the amount to be credited. Also, activity logging for RMA documents has been added.
Document template revision and delivery has continued to be improved, building off of ChannelOnline's earlier 6.0.5 and 6.1 releases. The ability for customers to design custom templates has been a great addition to the tool. Continuous improvements to the customization functionality are giving customers even greater flexibility.
Other additions and updates in ChannelOnline 6.2 include punchout document support, enabling customers who offer end-customers punchout functionality the option to submit their internal purchase orders back to their ChannelOnline StoreSite. Also, ChannelOnline has grown its number of supported suppliers with the addition of CentricsIT, who offer both new and used IT hardware to the channel.
ChannelOnline, founded in 2001, is the gold standard for sales-cycle automation solutions in the IT industry. The release of ChannelOnline 6.2 is an indication of CNET Content Solutions' consistent dedication to product improvement and customer satisfaction. ChannelOnline typically releases updates and improvements four times per year. For a more detailed outline of ChannelOnline features and improvements, see the ChannelOnline 6.2 Announcement.
