ChannelOnline 6.0 Brings Business Process Improvements and New Suppliers

On Friday, August 16, 2013, ChannelOnline, a CNET Content Solutions product, rolled out version 6.0. With a rich history of twelve years serving the IT channel, ChannelOnline continues to improve its quoting and procurement tool to ensure quality for their customers. ChannelOnline 6.0 continues this trend by making it easier than ever for VARs and MSPs to run their businesses.

Business process improvements with ChannelOnline 6.0 include the ability to manage multiple business locations for documents. It is now possible to send all invoices to one address while sending all sales orders to a different address for the same company. Another addition is added Personnel management, allowing administrative users to add employees to the tool without filling user licenses. In a future release of the application, this will enable users to assign employees to customers and documents. ChannelOnline 6.0 also brings the ability to give access rights to an external person, who does not fill a user license, to manage payment of the ChannelOnline account. Now, Accounts Payable teams can be granted access to manage payments without filling user licenses.

ChannelOnline is already integrated with a number of industry-leading suppliers including Tech Data, Synnex, and Ingram Micro. With version 6.0, ChannelOnline adds Jenne, Inc, a leading distributor of business telephony, data, audio and video conferencing and security technology products. In addition to adding Jenne as a supplier, ChannelOnline 6.0 has improved integration with Dell PartnerDirect, including the ability to import Dell PartnerDirect product catalogs.
